THE WORKSHOPS

A full day of Technical Workshops, from LED Saber Techniques to Qi Gong Breath-work, plus Referee Training with opportunities for friendly sparring. A great opportunity for sword enthusiasts to get together as a community, and share ideas before the big day!
Please note that this day is for trained LED Saber Fighters and LED Sabre Club Students only, and not open to the general public.
THE TOURNAMENT

The SaberFest Tournament is an opportunity for sword clubs to get together and compete using LED Sabers. It’s explosive, fast, and epic to watch! Our tournament is a fun layout with some creative tweaks to replace the typical pool format, including theatrical deaths to gain back points, and a bad-ass score board! Come along as a Spectator and watch epic Space Gladiators fight it out to be crowned the SabreFest London Winner for 2025!

There will be space for up to 32 Fighters this year, so for the time being we will ask clubs to limit themselves to 4 Fighters each, until we have an idea of participation numbers. After which we will inform clubs if we can increase the limit, so keep your team on stand-by!
All LED Sabre Clubs known to us have already been emailed the link to purchase Workshop and Fighter tickets. If we become fully booked, a reserve list will be made available, and slots offered should spaces appear. Priority for extra spaces will go to Saber Accords members. If you would like to include your LED Saber Club in our tourney but haven’t joined us before, please get in touch with us at info@silver-sabres.com, where we can discuss our tournament with you and share the link to purchase tickets for your club.
Independent Fighters will also be welcome, but will need to be assessed by our team before the tournament begins if they have not competed with us before. Participant safety is of the utmost importance to us, so only Fighters who are deemed as safe and experienced will be cleared to compete. SaberFest is an opportunity for clubs to get together for friendly matches, tournaments, workshops, referee training, performances and more! Whilst the core practice revolves around the use of the LED Sabre, SabreFest also ventures into archery, historical weapons, and even unarmed martial arts!
Hosted by the Silver Sabres in the UK, and by Fechtkultur Braunschweig in Germany, we look forward to inviting more friends each year!
