Introducing a vocabulary of cuts and wields, this class explores the basics and starts the journey towards laying the foundations of the syllabus, which will eventually lead to duelling and arena combat. This in-class session covers all aspects of basic sabre technique and footwork.

Our Wednesday classes are held in the main hall of the Everyone Active gym, on the ground floor of the Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre. We hire two badminton courts within the main hall, suitable for medium-sized groups. Facilities include, changing rooms, showers, toilets, plus a food court located within the arts centre section.

The nearest station is Stevenage, which is connected to the centre via a bridge, and only a minute’s walk away. There is parking available at the centre for those driving in for the cost of £1 for up to 2 hours. Please take your token to the gym desk for validation, to receive the reduced parking rate, before leaving.
